We are heading off to Myanmar, cities with ancient stupas, villages on water and more pagodas than you've ever seen before...

DETAILS

  • November 16th - 23rd 2026

  • ​Small group of 8 (max) travellers

  • Private local guide, driver and your host, El (@solowithel) 

  • Deposit of £300 is required to secure your spot (non refundable) ​​​

Includes: 

  • 7 nights accommodation; 5x hotel 2x bus

  • All transport in country, including airport transfers

  • Local guide / driver

  • All breakfasts and one other meal per day 

  • All attraction entrance costs

Excludes:

  • Any personal spending (souvenirs, snacks)

PLEASE NOTE:
Myanmar travel has various challenges to it, from strict curfews to daily power outages. We have partnered with a local guide who will do their best to ensure guests are comfortable and fully informed at all times. This said, please note; 
 
  • Whilst we do our best to choose hotels with backup generators, power outages may occur, limiting WIFI, AC and water. 
  • We will be taking 2 night buses. Please note these are not glamourous VIP busses you may get elsewhere, and do not provide laydown seats. 
  • The itinerary may need to change due to current situation, by re ordering destinations or removing activities in areas no longer permitted. 

VISA REQUIRMENTS:

Visa on arrival at the airport is available for most nationalities.

ITINEARY

Day 1:

  • Arrival day! We recommend taking a morning flight to reach Yangon by afternoon. 

  • Airport transfer and meet at a Restaurant to meet the group and have a meal

  • Night bus to Bagan

Day 2:

  • Head to our hotel to freshen up and leave luggage before heading out for the day!

  • Today is a full day spent exploring Bagan with our local guide in our van

Day 3:

  • My favourite day! Free time to explore Bagan

  • Our guide will be available if you wish to travel in the same style as the day before, alternatively you can rent bikes (approx £5 per day) and bike your way around the incredible pagodas, or hire a tuktuk! If you want to head of for solo time, great! If you want to stay with me, the guide or others, also great! 

  • Meet back up in the evening for a group dinner

Day 4:

  • Morning drive to Inle lake

  • Wander the town and visit the small night market nearby for some street food

Day 5:

  • Full day exploring Inle!

  • Take a boat out onto the lake, making stops at various locations in the stilt water villages

Day 6:

  • Spend the morning exploring Indein village

  • Visit snack village and Shwe Indein pagoda 

  • Evening bus departure for Yangon

Day 7:

  • Morning arrival to Yangon 

  • Freshen up after our night bus and spend the full day exploring the capital city

  • One last group dinner

Day 8:

  • Departure day! 

  • Airport transfers available 

  • If you wish to stay longer, we can help arrange hotel extensions.
